闭关锁国的清朝，用八股与封建鬼神压抑着先进的思想。但自戊戌变法始，中国开始逐渐剪掉辫子，脱去旗装。但这些还不够，历史的车轮碾碎了封建王朝的帝国梦。
辛亥革命后，新文化运动与五四运动将“德先生”和“赛先生”请进了封建传统的中国，让民主，自由，平权之风在灰暗的旧社会中激起层层涟漪。真的猛士，敢于直面鲜血和惨淡的人生。而苟活者在淡红的血色中，会依稀看见微茫的希望；真的猛士，将更奋然而前行。沉舟侧畔千帆过，病树前头万木春。新青年们以笔为剑，以思想为纲，能做事的做事，能发声的发声。有一分热，发一分光。就令萤火一般，也可以在黑暗里发一点光，不必等候炬火。无论地位，无谓贵贱，学术艺术上百花齐放，思想言论上百家争鸣，举着骨头当火把，驱散了压抑千年的迷雾。在这场战斗中，既有周先生，胡先生这些思想家，也有广大莘莘学子。无论名气与身份，他们执着的为民主共和添砖加瓦，奉献自己的一份力。
中国，站起来了，这个蛰伏了千年的困兽褪去枷锁，缓慢的起身，让世界再度看到这个昔日的强国，这只巨兽，终于开始发声了。但是，比起那些早已摆脱封建荼毒的国家，中国依然底子很弱。
即使如今，即使在马圈，现在依然还是这样。中国有着十三亿多人口，所以无论在哪里，中国人的数量都是无法被忽视的。不过在中国，马迷群体虽有四十三万余，但在世界之中，却少被重视。无论艺术作品还是学术著作，中国马迷的作品能在世界舞台上亮相的依然太少了。我们不缺人，但是缺少文化的输出。
国内不缺乏有深度、有思想、美轮美奂、阳春白雪的作品，但有很大一部分因为历史的局限性而被淹没在茫茫人海之中。这些作品雪藏在风雪寒霜之下，但即使出生在永久的冻土之中，他们也倔强而朝气蓬勃的无惧严寒，傲雪成长，将思想的力量传播四方。
风雨送春归，飞雪迎春到。已是悬崖百丈冰，犹有花枝俏。俏也不争春，只把春来报。待到山花烂漫时，她在丛中笑！纵使面前是百丈冰崖，纵使前路暗淡迷茫，先行者们以身化火，以杖为枪，披荆斩棘，在这黑暗之中搏出了一片血路。而看见火光的追随者们也挣脱枷锁，迈开脚步，加入先行者的队伍，让星星之火渐成燎原之势。
一点，再一点；一片，又一片，冰原之上开出了一朵忍冬花。风雪呼啸，想摧毁他脆弱的根基；北风嘶吼，想让他陷入恐惧；低温严寒，想让他蜷缩沉沦。但是，忍冬花不怕这些，他狂笑着唱着歌，把寒冷的北风当做节拍器，把冰雪严寒当做舞台的装饰，他快意的狂笑，肆意的呐喊，他高声的唱和着：风！你咆哮吧！咆哮吧！尽力地咆哮吧！在这暗无天日的时候，一切都睡着了，都沉在梦里，都死了的时候，正是应该你咆哮的时候 ，应该你尽力咆哮的时候！尽管你是怎样的咆哮，你也不能把他们从梦中叫醒，不能把死了的吹活转来，不能吹掉这比铁还沉重的眼前的黑暗，但你至少可以吹走一些灰尘，吹走一些沙石，至少可以吹动一些花草树木。你可以使那洞庭湖，使那长江，使那东海，为你翻波涌浪，和你一同地大声咆哮啊！甚至，这咆哮的声音越来越大，从一朵到一丛，一片到满山，越来越多的忍冬花听到了号召，纷纷抖去身上的白雪，加入了队伍，一同呼唤着春，期待春光洒满山川。从点到线，连线成面，火星变成了燎原的烈火，如同欧洲上空的幽灵，如同西伯利亚荒原上的巨人，一呼百应，让思想脱去铁链，让阳光暖照心田。
后来者接过前人手中的火炬，加入队伍，继续向奔跑，让小马精神在传递之中熠熠生辉，让小马的故事在传递之中得以永存。在这条我们的路上，越来越多的人加入进来，越来越多人举着火炬。在这里面有行将就木的老人，有中流砥柱的中坚，更有朝气蓬勃的活跃者，甚至还有黄发未退的稚童。无论手中的火炬大小，无论火炬点燃的时间，无论他们贡献的多少，他们都让前行的路更亮，让燎原的烈火更加耀眼。
百花齐放的花园里不仅有惊艳的牡丹，娇嫩是月季，高贵的玫瑰，还有开成一丛的雏菊，点缀在树丛间的石榴，也有匍匐在地面的野莓，藏在叶间的铃兰。并非只有引人注意的那些牡丹、月季和玫瑰可以让园中的人看到，每一朵花或大或小，或高或低，或蓝或紫，只有他们开在一起，才会让整个苗圃显得芳香满园。
金橡树图书馆曾是小马友谊的象征。在这里，她们战胜过梦魇之月与无序，也经历过睡衣派对和疯狂学业。金橡树是友谊的根基，是魔法的源泉，也是我们的家。无论走了多远，无论身在何处，当万家灯火亮起，当窗前橘灯闪闪，我们应该停下手中的事情，回到家再看看。
